What 2 things do you always need to say to describe an enlargement?
How many times bigger you have made the shape. Where the centre of enlargement is.

What does centre of enlargement mean?
The centre of enlargement tells us where the enlargement is being measured from.

What is a scale factor?
The scale factor tells us by how much the object has been enlarged.

Translation

1.Explain what a translation is.
A Translation is another word for movement, so if I have a crate I need something to Translate that crate to a a different location.

2.Explain how a vector works. What does it look like? What does the top number indicate? What does the bottom number indicate?
(3)<--This number means Left or Right.
(2)<--This number means Up or Down.
A vector is two numbers inside of 2 brackets, which the bottom numbers indicate going Up or Down, and the top numbers indicate Left or Down.

3.Give a real life example of when translation is used.
Like I stated in my previous explanation, picking up a crate and moving it to a different location.

2. How much has it turned.
3. It is either clockwise or anticlockwise.

Explain what centre of rotation means.

Now use these 3 things to describe the rotation on Page 1 of the myimaths lesson (i.e. describe the rotation of the triangle)
The triangle rotates 90 degrees clockwise.

Don't you think these words sound strange?

Don't you think these words sound strange?

I will get your mind to change

Mode, Mode, Mu, Mu, Mu, Mode, Mode

Is the number that occurs occurs the most most
Singing Mode, Mode, Mu, Mu, Mu, Mode, Mode

Now stop, lets take it to the middle. Got to find the median no time to daddle diddle
Line up all the numbers from the smallest to the big and the ones thats in the middle does a media jig
Go median, middle number, go median, middle number
Now the third ones mean, not nice but mean

Lets talk about range and have some fun
It's the biggest number minus the smallest number, in the group, in the group
It's the biggest number minus the smallest number , in the group, in the group

You got Mode, Median, Mean and Range

Multiplying Fractions

How to multiply fractions.

Step 1: Get your equation e.g 5/6 X 2/4

Step 2: Take 5/6 and split them into 5 and 6

Step 3: Then take 2/4 and split them into 2 and 4

Step 4: Times the first two numbers of the fractions together 5 X 2 = 10

Step 5: Then times the second two numbers of the fractions together 6 X 4 = 24

Step 6: Now take your two answers and put them together as a fraction 10/24

Step 7: Simplify your answer so in this case it is 5/12
